The Milwaukee Brewers and their players have been involved in quite a few trade rumors this off-season. Players included in rumors include Kolten Wong, Corbin Burnes, Willy Adames, Christian Yelich, and others. With all of these rumors, a lot of writers have put together trade packages. With that being said, this trade package may be the worst one proposed yet.
Here is the trade proposal that is between the Brewers and Dodgers.
Dodgers get: RHP Corbin Burnes, OF Christian Yelich, SS Willy Adames
Brewers get: OF Andy Pages (Dodgers’ No. 5 prospect), RHP Ryan Pepiot (No. 6), C Dalton Rushing (No. 9), RHP Landon Knack (No. 11)
The replies from Brewer fans did not take long to start pouring in.
I’ve seen some horrendous trade proposals before, even made a few.
But the Brewers-Dodgers trade in here is possibly the worst proposal ever. In fact, it probably is worse than $44 billion for Twitter https://t.co/ThXbtLnohW

This brewers trade is horrendous. How does one give up burnes adames and yelich and only get the dodgers fifth best prospect in the deal https://t.co/Ip5IlLLBAC

The Brewers one is just embarrassing https://t.co/8gl4aSdgDU

The Brewers/Dodgers hypothetical is only an interesting concept for the Dodgers. You are right, never would happen, because it would be an awful and not very intelligent move for Milwaukee.

The Dodgers-Brewers deal is atrocious

There are plenty of solid local writers covering the Brewers. Give your attention and clicks to them over the national guys who publish stuff like this. pic.twitter.com/gIGH9tw6Nf

The writer stated in his tweet when posting the article that if any of these trades are overpays, it can’t possibly be worse than $44 billion for Twitter. After reading the Brewers and Dodgers trade proposal, I disagree.
In this trade package, sure the Brewers shed a lot of salary. However, they also lose three of their best players and do not gain anything higher than the Dodgers fifth highest ranked prospect. This is a trade that will never happen.

Do people not do research?! Christian Yelich has a no trade clause in his contract extension. So no, this will definitely never happen. Not because it’s a terrible idea, but because it legally could never happen.
