Brewers fans are losing it over what Quinn Priester told a fan amid offseason

Despite a historic regular season in 2025, in which they won a franchise record-setting total of 95 wins, the Milwaukee Brewers were not able to win the World Series.

They did not even reach the Fall Classic, as they were embarrassingly swept in the National League Championship Series by Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

However, Milwaukee still has a 2025 campaign to be proud of. Apart from the aforementioned number of wins they collected last year, the Brewers also saw some players step up and break out, including none other than right-handed pitcher Quinn Priester.

Brewers’ Priester had hilarious comment on viral post

While Priester had an undeniably fantastic campaign in his first season in Milwaukee uniform, he’s still far from being a household name, like, well, Ohtani.

On that note, an X (formerly Twitter) user recently shared a post saying, “Just went on a first date and she didn’t know who Quinn Priester was.”

The 25-year-old Priester apparently saw that tweet and responded to it, saying “There’s plenty of fish in the sea…”

Well, Priester, who has drawn a ton of reactions to his comment, is right. There are indeed lots of fish in the sea, and the same can perhaps be said about the MLB free agency. That being said, Milwaukee isn’t really known for making big splashes in the offseason.

As for Priester, he will look to sustain and improve his form in 2026.

In 2025, he went 13-3 with a 3.32 ERA and 125 ERA+ through 29 appearances for the Brewers, including 24 starts.
