Ever since Nike took over as the new jersey sponsor of Major League Baseball, they have slowly been creating new alternate jerseys for each MLB team. This past week, it was the Brewers’ turn to get their “City Connect” jerseys. Met with mixed, but mostly positive feedback, the Brewers officially began selling City Connect gear in their team store and online last week.

In addition to this awesome gear being available in real life, the Brewers’ City Connect uniforms are now available in MLB The Show 22. You can access this gear through multiple game modes; including Play Now, Franchise, Road to the Show, and Diamond Dynasty.

    What is Diamond Dynasty?

Diamond Dynasty can be best described as an in-game Fantasy Baseball mode. One big difference is that anyone can use any MLB player as long as they unlock them through challenges, packs, or the in-game marketplace. Player overalls and in-game stats are updated on a bi-weekly basis to reflect player performances in real life.

Tomorrow, we have another attributes update!

Who do you think will get that 💎 in #MLBTheShow 22? 🤨

In addition, players can unlock legends and flashback cards from years past. Brewers legends Robin Yount, Paul Molitor, and Prince Fielder are just a few unlockable legends in the Diamond Dynasty mode.

There are hundreds of in-game Moments, Missions, Collections, and Programs that can help players unlock their favorite in-game cards. The great thing about MLB The Show is that you can be successful without spending any money on in-game purchases. However, if you have gift cards for Xbox or Playstation, you can also spend that on in-game currency to buy your favorite players without completing the challenges to unlock them!

In Diamond Dynasty, there is a new in-game program that players can access at any time. In order to unlock the Brewers’ City Connect uniforms, players must first complete a series of objectives.

First, players must complete situational challenges called “Moments.” These moments are usually fairly easy for players. Following those challenges, they are given a handful of brief multi-game “Missions” to complete. Last, players must complete a Brewers collection that requires them to trade in the virtual cards of Brewers players.

After completing these challenges and objectives, players will unlock these in-game jerseys, along with a handful of in-game packs of virtual baseball cards that they can use for their Diamond Dynasty team. On top of all of that, you can also unlock a 92 overall Freddy Peralta card! Since this card is a flashback to his 2018 season, you can bet that his Fastball will be nearly untouchable against CPU opponents.

These new Nike City Connect jerseys and Freddy Peralta will be available for you to earn in our new Milwaukee Brewers program! 😱@nikediamond @Brewers

The Brewers will debut their City Connect jerseys today, June 24th, versus the Toronto Blue Jays. They will wear their City Connects exclusively this weekend and again periodically throughout the remainder of the season. The Brewers City Connect schedule is available on Brewers.com.

MLB The Show 22 is available on Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch. Recently, MLB The Show 22 was available for 33% off in the Nintendo Store. Live out your dreams of teaming up with Prince Fielder and Robin Yount today! If you’d like to live out your own MLB dreams, check out Road to the Show mode and make your way from the MLB Draft day all the way to the World Series!
