The Tampa Bay buccaneers will be without one of their top playmakers in week three versus Green Bay. A decision handed out by the NFL this morning will surely have an impact in week three. Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is a officially out for one week due to the brawl that took place Vs the Saints. The NFL released the official suspension this morning.
Mike Evans suspended for packers game.

This is a major development for more than one reason. Not only is Mike Evans the Buccaneers’ best receiver, he was the only healthy one of their top three. Julio Jones is dealing with a lingering knee issue. Jones was able to play in week one, but was ruled out for week two. Chris Godwin, the Buccaneers’ second best receiver, is dealing with a hamstring injury. In his first action back since his torn ACL, Godwin injured his hamstring versus the Dallas Cowboys.
Green Bay’s secondary figures two play well against a depleted wide receiving corps. It is possible that Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller are Tampa Bay‘s top two wide receivers in week three. That being said, Tampa Bay will surely rely on the run game with Leonard Fournette. Green Bay has certainly struggled against the run so far this year. Tom Brady and Company is well aware of that and will attempt to exploit it. Either way, a team who is unable to pass the ball effectively rarely beats Aaron Rodgers. Even if they have Tom Brady at quarterback. This is huge news for the NFL, and specifically the Green Bay Packers heading into a pivotal week three matchup.
