The Packers ruled out four players against the Cowboys
The Green Bay Packers came into practice this week preparing for the Dallas Cowboys pretty short-handed. The Packers had nearly a third of their 53-man roster on the injury report this week. Most of the reporting on the injury front from head coach Matt LaFleur was negative this week. On Friday, the Packers ruled out four players against the Cowboys.
According to the Packers’ injury report Friday, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, wide receiver Romeo Doubs, cornerback Eric Stokes, and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles have all been ruled out for the Packers in Week 10. Linebacker Krys Barnes, battling a concussion, is listed as doubtful to play the Cowboys.
Wide receiver Amari Rodgers, who popped up on Friday’s injury report with a quadriceps injury, is questionable to play this week. Offensive tackle David Bakhtiari is also questionable to play against the Cowboys, as his status has been fluid until the day of the game for most of this season.
The Packers will need some guys to step up
The Packers made a few roster moves this week to help with injuries. They designated Tipa Galeai to return from the injured reserve. He might play in Gary’s place. The Packers also signed safety Johnathan Abram off of waivers.
They’ll need all hands on deck to beat the Cowboys, who are rolling with a 6-2 record this season. Former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy appears to have his team in good shape before his reunion at Lambeau Field. He and the Cowboys appear to have received good news on the injury front as they expect Ezekiel Elliott to return from injury to play the Packers.
