First Darnell Savage, and now Rashan Gary. The Green Bay Packers are locking both players down for a fifth year, through the 2023 season. Rashan Gary has quickly turned into one of the best past rushers in the league. This move seemed inevitable as Green Bay would never let Gary walk.

With the recent draft picks of Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt, Green Bay‘s defense is going to be ridiculous for years to come. Most notably their front seven is going to be dominant.
It’s easy to see that Brian Gutekunst hit on both first round draft picks in 2019, as both fifth your options were picked up today. Defense. Wins. Championships.
