The Packers will get an offensive weapon against the Lions
The Green Bay Packers suffered an unlucky break against the Buffalo Bills last Sunday night. During the game, the short-handed wide receivers corps lost another player, Christian Watson. Watson was ruled out with a concussion that had some fans annoyed on social media. It was unclear during the practice week if Watson would be available for the Packers against the Detroit Lions.
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Watson will be able to play in Week 9.
#Packers WR Christian Watson will play despite being questionable, source said. That helps.

This should help the Packers’ offense which will need to score points against an explosive Lions team. The Packers come into this game with a 3-5 record as they ride a four-game losing streak. Having Watson back should allow quarterback Aaron Rodgers to have a deep threat. Watson has been able to spread out NFL defenses with his blazing speed. The Packers needed to have this offensive weapon in their arsenal this week.
