The Green Bay Packers had multiple players leave the game during Sunday’s 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions due to injury. Unfortunately, one of those injuries appears to be season-ending. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Packers believe the Rashan Gary injury is a torn ACL. Gary was seen using crutches after leaving the game with a knee injury.
Rashan Gary tears his ACL, source confirms, and he’ll have an MRI to determine if there is additional damage. More bad luck for the #Packers. https://t.co/6nhYkkYLtq

Packers Rashan Gary Injury Likely a Season-Ender
You could argue that Rashan Gary has been Green Bay’s best player this season. He is one of the bright spots on a struggling Packers team. Gary currently leads the Packers with six sacks, seven tackles for loss and 12 quarterback hits. If the initial fear that the Rashan Gary injury was a torn ACL is true, then Packers rookie Kingsley Enagbare will need to step up to fill the cosmic void Rashan Gary would leave.
The Packers did not only lose Rashan Gary to injury on Sunday. Currently, the Packers are still waiting for updates on Aaron Jones, Romeo Doubs, Eric Stokes, Christian Watson and Krys Barnes.
To say that the Packers’ game in Detroit didn’t go as planned would certainly be an understatement. The Packers are continuing to take loss after loss this season and can’t seem to catch a break. The road will only become more difficult for Green Bay. Their next three games are against the Cowboys, Titans, and Eagles.
Green Bay started their season 3-1. Now, after losing five straight games and suffering a Rashan Gary injury, the Packers’ season is consequently starting to look more bleak after every passing week.
