Bembry’s 2021-22 Season
While DeAndre was a member of the Nets, he played in 48 games and started 20 of those games. Playing just shy of 20 minutes a game, DeAndre is shooting 56% from the field including 41% from 3. In addition, Bembry has chipped in 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steal per game. Primarily a role player throughout his career he will continue that role with the Milwaukee Bucks. DeAndre is a welcome addition to the Bucks roster with Pat Connaughton being sidelined for the next four weeks with a hand injury.

Bembry’s Career
Measuring in at 6’5″ 210 pounds, Bembry will bring length and defensive toughness to a Bucks team in need of wing help. Bembry will likely come off the bench with the second unit. In 288 career games, Bembry has only started 55 of them so he’s no stranger to coming off the bench. DeAndre has scored 6.1 points on 47% FG% with 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and a steal per game over his six seasons. These numbers don’t scream offensive threat, however, the Milwaukee Bucks need help on the defensive end of the floor. When entered into games, Bembry will likely draw the opposing teams best wing player, allowing Khris Middleton to guard a weaker offensive threat.
The deal could likely get done as early as Wednesday. It’s likely that Bembry won’t make his Bucks debut after the All-Star break. The first game after the All-Star break, the Brooklyn Nets, DeAndre’s former team!
