All-star forward Khris Middleton suffered the MCL sprain in game two of the first-round. Original diagnosis said Middleton could miss 3-4 weeks. Middleton suffered the injury on April 20th.
Milwaukee’s Next Man Up Mentality
Milwaukee was able to get past the Chicago Bulls after a slow start and losing Middleton. The Bucks definitely deployed the “next man up” mentality after the Middleton injury. Contributions came from a variety of players, especially Grayson Allen. Allen’s 22 points in game 3 and 27 points in game 4 helped fuel Milwaukee to a 4-1 series win.
Celtics Series
As the 2-seed, Boston has home court advantage. Boston made quick work of the Nets and are playing at an incredibly high level. Milwaukee and Boston will kick-off the second-round matchup Sunday at 12:00pm CT on ABC.
