Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to win another championship. Their last one came during the 2020-21 season when they beat the Phoenix Suns in six games. That Championship was their first in 50 years. If they want to replicate that same success in 2022-23, they are going to have to overcome yet another major injury.

Milwaukee Bucks say Giannis Antetokounmpo is OUT for the rest of the game with a lower back contusion
The Milwaukee Bucks star, Giannis Antetokounmpo, took a hard fall and sustained an apparent back/tailbone injury during the first quarter of Sunday’s postseason matchup against the Miami Heat. He went to the locker room prior to the end of the quarter. Antetokounmpo went for a layup and landed awkwardly when bumping into Heat forward Kevin Love. Full video below:

Giannis Antetokounmpo was back out on the floor for only one minute before exiting the contest once again. This will certainly be something to watch going forward in this series and for the rest of the 2023 playoffs.
