A former Badgers safety chose a new school Monday
The Wisconsin Badgers had several players from the 2022 season hit the transfer portal this year. It makes sense, as the Badgers fired Paul Chryst and hired Luke Fickell. The Badgers program will be rebuilt to fit Fickell’s style. One former Badgers defender, who announced his intention to leave Madison in early December, chose their new destination on Monday.
Titus Toler announced on his Twitter page he committed to play for Boise State in 2023.

Toler was a redshirt junior this season. He redshirted his freshman year in 2019. Toler appeared in two games in 2020 but did not play at all during the 2021 season. He appeared in five games for the Badgers this season and recorded five tackles. Toler leaves Wisconsin with one interception and two passes defended for his career. We’ll see if Toler can find more playing time as a safety for Boise State.
