David Bakhtiari has been a fan favorite in Green Bay since he was drafted in 2013. There’s been very few offensive lineman in the NFL that have captured the hearts of NFL fans the way that #69 has. Even taking that into account, it is impossible to ignore what has been going on recently with his injury. Packers coaching staff has said he participating with the rehab group is all precautionary. Those precautionary measures will seemingly continue into training camp.

At this point it is getting extremely disheartening for the fans to see David Bakhtiari still in the rehab group. It has been approximately 18 months since he has torn his ACL. At the end of the 2021 season he came back to play the first half versus Detroit Lions in week 18. However he was then unable to play in the lone playoff game versus the San Francisco 49ers.
Will Bakhtiari Ever Play Again?
wow that may seem like a drastic question right now, it is seemingly a fair one to ask. It seems as though the multiple surgeries David Bakhtiari has had since his ACL tear have not stood the test of time. Matt LaFleur had previously said he expected Bakhtiari to be on the field to start camp.
David Bakhtiari signed a massive four year extension that will keep him in Green Bay through the 2024 season. However going forward, if David Bakhtiari is unable to practice by the time the season rolls around, Green Bay may need to consider moving on from their star left tackle.
