Serge Ibaka has not been happy for quite some time with the Milwaukee Bucks. He has been away from the team for weeks now. On the injury report, he has been listed as “out” for “personal reasons.” However, it was no secret that Ibaka and the Bucks had some kind of falling out. This morning, The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported that Milwaukee has agreed to trade Ibaka:
The Milwaukee Bucks and center Serge Ibaka have mutually agreed to find the 14-year NBA veteran a new home via trade as he remains away from the team, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Serge Ibaka Was Not Happy
Serge Ibaka was originally traded to the Milwaukee Bucks last season. He also re-signed with the team this summer when he became a free agent. However, Brook Lopez has been playing at an All-Star level and Bobby Portis is gunning for Sixth Man of the Year. With those two players performing so well, Ibaka has seen his playing time drop to the fewest minutes in his career.
Clearly, he was not happy about the situation. The Bucks, who need more scoring and better defense at the wing, may try to use Ibaka in a trade to land a player that fits that bill.
