The Milwaukee Brewers have to scramble to get a backup catcher ready for Opening Day. The team’s expected backup, Pedro Severino, was just suspended 80 games for violating the league’s PED policy. Severino tested positive for Clomiphene.

Severino had a fantastic Spring Training with the Milwaukee Brewers. He smashed two home runs and three doubles while hitting over .400. The other two catchers on the Brewers’ 40-man roster are Mario Feliciano and Brett Sullivan. Feliciano made his Major League debut last year, drawing a walk in his only plate appearance.
