Allen Lazard will officially be on the field for the Packers in 2022. The only question at this point is why it took so long. Perhaps we will find out tomorrow (6/14/22) at the last open OTA practice of the year. Reporters will certainly ask about it after practice. However, for now the Packers have their guy back for the 2022-23 NFL season. Huge.
Salary Cap Implications:
It has finally happened: Can confirm Allen Lazard has signed his second-round tender with the #Packers, as @ProFootballTalk said. The one-year deal is worth $3.986M. It was always inevitable Lazard would sign for 2022, just a question of when.
