The Wisconsin Badgers have been losing players in the transfer portal already this offseason. After finishing with a 5-7 record this season, it felt inevitable for potential changes for the 2025 college football season. One player who recently entered the transfer portal was wide receiver Will Pauling.
Pauling completed his junior season with the Badgers. During the 2024 college football season, he caught 42 passes for 407 yards receiving and three touchdowns, along with averaging 9.7 yards per catch.
Wisconsin Badgers Fans React To Will Pauling Entering the Transfer Portal
There have been many reactions to different Badgers players entering the transfer portal already this offseason. With Pauling being the latest member of Wisconsin to be transferring to a different school, here is what some fans had to say about it:
Best of luck in your next adventure, unless it’s the Gophers! 🤣

It will be interesting to see which college football teams will want to get Will Pauling on the roster for the 2025 college football season. Pauling has a chance to be good in 2025 in the right offense and they also need to have a good quarterback. Wisconsin did not have good quarterback play in 2024.
Better In 2023
When quarterback play was better for the Badgers in 2023, Will Pauling caught 74 passes for 837 yards receiving and six touchdowns, along with averaging 11.3 yards per reception. This is why he could be successful somewhere else. It was strange that he did not replicate those numbers during the 2024 college football season.
Pauling is 5’10” and weighs 190 lbs. It would be intriguing to see Pauling on a different BIG10 Conference team next season.
