The Baseball Hall of Fame on Monday announced the eight finalists for the 2023 Contemporary Baseball Era Hall of Fame ballot. The Contemporary Baseball Era considers players from 1980 or later.
A 16-person committee will vote on this group in December. A player must receive 75% (12 of 16) of the vote to be selected. A committee member can choose only three of the eight for their ballot.
