When it rains, it pours. The Green Bay Packers are certainly being put through the wringer this season. After suffering their worst loss of the season Sunday afternoon, it got worse Sunday night. Every Sunday night an alternate game broadcast featuring former NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Eli Manning airs on ESPN2. The regular broadcast of Sunday Night Football still airs on ESPN. The Mannings consistently have on guests during the game. Tonight former president Barack Obama made an appearance and had some fun at the expense of the Green Bay Packers.

But, the Packers visited the White House months before the Bears for their Super Bowl win in 2011. Did Obama invite the Bears despite the Packers’ visit?
“It was hard having the Packers and having to be nice to them,” Obama said on the Manningcast.
Obama is originally from Chicago and is a true Chicago Bears fan. Here is a picture of Charles Woodson’s famous “we’ll go see him” comment after the NFC Championship victory in 2011 against the Chicago Bears:

If Green Bay wants to return to their glory days in 2022-23, they’re going to have to right the ship, quickly. It’ll have to start this week against the formidable Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football.
