The Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders are having joint practice together in Owings Mills, Md., on Tuesday. They are separated by less than an hour from each other. To say there has been drama during camp between these two football teams has been an understatement.
Baltimore Ravens & Washington Commanders Tempers Flare At Camp
There were two fights that escalated during the joint practice on Tuesday between the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Commanders. The first fight happened between Commanders first-round rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes from Mississippi State and Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace, who is competing for a roster spot.

The second fight that occurred was started by Baltimore Ravens offensive line Morgan Moses, who used to be a player for the Washington Commanders. In that same skirmish, Ravens tight end Mark Andrews and Commanders defensive tackle Da’Rron Payne got involved and were chirping at one another.
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had to call both teams in together to calm things down a little bit between these two Beltway rivals. Also, the benches cleared during the escalation, according to Arye Pulli, an NFL reporter for OffSportsPlace.
What is interesting about all of these skirmishes is that Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera spoke out about not messing around before these joint practices with the Baltimore Ravens.
He said, “Next time we’re on the practice field, it’s going to be competitive.” Rivera also claimed, “We’re not there to beat anybody up. We’re there to play against somebody and learn and grow and develop. I was very direct about that and I’m going to be very direct in the next couple of meetings we have leading right up to practice. We don’t want to go around and b*s*.”

After Tuesday, the Baltimore Ravens and the Washington Commanders will have another joint practice on Wednesday and play each other in the preseason on Monday, Aug. 21. Hopefully, there will be no more unnecessary fights between the two teams after practice on Tuesday.
