The Wisconsin Badgers are going back to the drawing board during the 2024 off-season. This past season was an absolute disaster for the Luke Fickell led program.
Now Wisconsin is losing one of their top playmakers to the transfer portal.
Breaking: Badgers Lose Top Playmaker To Transfer Portal (Report)
The Wisconsin Badgers football team is in for another offseason surprise. Standout running back Tawee Walker was originally not expected to return to Madison next season, as he was out of eligibility.
As it turns out, he has another year of eligibility:
However, due to the new JUCO rules for college football players, Walker has one more year left on his clock. He could have returned to the Badgers in 2025 and tried to post another strong season for head man Luke Fickell and his coaching staff.
That’s not going to happen, though, as Walker has decided to once again enter the transfer portal. Walker joined Wisconsin after suiting up for the Oklahoma Sooners. He was a stud in 2024, but now he’ll be looking for a new place to call home.
Wisconsin running back Tawee Walker plans to enter the transfer portal, Lionheart Sports Agency tells @On3sports.
Former Oklahoma transfer had 864 yards this season and 10 touchdowns.
