The Wisconsin Badgers have taken over the sporting world in the state. With the Green Bay Packers struggling (and on the Bye Week), the Brewers doing, well, nothing, and the Bucks flying under the radar, a great deal of talk has consisted of the Badgers and their new coaching staff. Specifically, what players are staying, and which ones are leaving? For a while, there were some questions about star running back Braelon Allen returning to Wisconsin. However, Allen confirmed himself, on Twitter, that he was returning to the Badgers.
Update: sources tell me Braelon Allen is a Wisconsin Badger. https://t.co/icFKmN7q3Y

Earlier this past week, he appeared on the Drew & KB Show on 97.3 The Fan to discuss his decision.
Braelon Allen Had High Praise for New Badgers Coach Luke Fickell
Of course, there were some major concerns about whether or not Braelon Allen would leave Wisconsin. He is, by far, the best offensive skill player on the team. Regardless of how the offense may be different under Fickell, having a running back like Allen is good for any offense.
It sounds, though, like it did not take Allen long to warm up to Coach Fickell. On the Drew & KB Show, Allen said: “I’ve gotten to build a great relationship with Coach Fick. We’ve had great conversations. I realized pretty much right off the bat, he’s the type of guy I wanted to play for.”
This is certainly telling of what kind of coach Fickell is. Even Markus Allen, who had entered the transfer portal and committed to Minnesota, came back to the program after Fickell was hired at Wisconsin.
Change is coming to Madison, and it appears Braelon Allen has embraced it.
