The Wisconsin Badgers have picked up a tremendous commitment from within the state, adding to the growing 2027 recruiting class.
2027 four-star Iola-Scandinavia (WI) tight end Korz Loken announced his commitment to the Badgers during the Navy All-American Bowl. Loken had previously announced he would settle on a program ahead of the bowl, and then announce his decision following the game. Wisconsin quickly became the destination many reporters felt Loken would choose.
The tight end is the top ranked recruit in the state of Wisconsin and the eighth tight end in the 2027 recruiting class. Loken is the 147th ranked recruit overall and easily one of the top priority targets the Badgers’ staff had been recruiting. The tight end joins three-star offensive tackle Ethan McIntosh as the only 2027 commitments the Badgers have at the moment.
Wisconsin Badgers Land Iola-Scandinavia Tight End Korz Loken

In the 2027 recruiting cycle, Wisconsin has made a few players from within the state early priorities as the rankings and prospects continue to shake out.
Four-star offensive lineman Cole Reiter, three-star edge rusher Isaac Miller, and McIntosh had been some of those priority players from within the state. Loken, however, has been atop the list for the Badgers as the promise of the tight end is too much to let go.
At 6-foot-5, 205 pounds, the tight end is a strong athlete on the field who looks like he is far older against his competition on film. Loken glides through defenses with his speed and flattens opponents with his strength both in the open field and when blocking. Opposing defenses typically have no match for the tight end who is consistently one of the biggest players on the field.
Loken still has another year of high school approaching which could allow the tight end to fully round out the rest of his game. The recruit is still considered to be a raw player who is learning his body and how to use his advantages on the field.
For the Badgers, Loken is an excellent addition for the future and one of the highest rated players landed during the Luke Fickell era.
