The Wisconsin Badgers have produced plenty of amazement the last few days with their latest scholarship offers. Wisconsin staff is spread out from Arizona to Florida in search of 2024 and 2025 recruits. With the size of the transfer and recruitment class for 2023, the Badgers have turned their focus towards blossoming recruits.
Badgers Offer Mandarin HS Corner Back Duo
Jon Mitchell and Antoine Shorter are a dynamic 2024 duo. Mandarin High School is located in Jacksonville, Florida and plays in the highest competitive bracket for football in the state. Mitchell and Shorter are used to playing against the toughest competition. Their highlights alone prove it to be true.
Mitchell stands at six feet tall and 160 pounds, and by far his best attribute is his speed. Mitchell flies around the field and reads plays better than the opposing receivers are. On one particular play, Mitchell blocked a kick attempt and made it look easy as well. Even on blown plays, Mitchell never gives up and chases down players from behind.
Standing across from Mitchell is the physical Antoine Belgrave-Shorter. Shorter stands at the same height as Mitchell, but weighs in at 175 pounds. Shorter packs a punch with his hits and rarely lets anyone past him. He is a technical tackler that excels at making open field tackles in particular.
Each recruit could be a big addition to the Badgers in their 2024 class. Trying to keep the Florida duo together in Madison would be rather difficult. However, it would be quite an entertaining story line to follow for years to come. The Wisconsin staff still have more offers in mind before they return, and the 2025 class is starting to heat up especially for the team.
