The Wisconsin women’s volleyball team has been in the gym practicing ahead of this years spring games. New faces who’ve joined the program and are taking advantage of this valuable court time with their new teammates. Head coach Kelly Sheffield announced the Badger women’s volleyball team will play a total of three times, once in March and twice in April.

Badger Women vs. Marquette
The first match will take place on March 31st and feature in state rival Marquette. These two teams will play at Oconomowoc High School in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. First serve will be at 7:30pm.
Last season, Wisconsin routed Marquette 3-1 in their third game of the season in front of a sold out crowd. This night also marked a celebration for the 2021 National Championship Team.

This match between Wisconsin and Marquette will be a prequel to a bout with each other later this fall. The two teams announced they will be playing at Fiserv Forum, the arena the Milwaukee Bucks play in. This match could very well set the new attendance record for an NCAA regular season game.
A return to the UW Fieldhouse
Shortly after their game against Marquette, the Badger women’s volleyball team will return to the UW Fieldhouse on April 5th. Their opponent, Athletes Unlimited. Athletes Unlimited is comprised of 15 professional athletes. One member of Athletes Unlimited has deep ties to the Badger women’s volleyball program. Sydney Hilley was a member of the 2021 National Championship team and will lead Athletes Unlimited in their match at the UW Fieldhouse. The match starts at 7pm and tickets for this event will be free.
Big Ten Finale
The final match of the spring schedule will take place on April 16th. Wisconsin will travel to take on Purdue at Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana. This match will take place at 1pm Central Time.
