With the conclusion of the MiLB season, it’s time to shift over to hardware season. The Brewers announced today that OF Joey Wiemer, as well as LHP Ethan Small would be awarded MiLB player of the year awards. Wiemer split time this year between Low-A Carolina and High-A Wisconsin, while Small applied his trade in AA Biloxi and AAA Nashville. Brewers fans, you’ve waited since 1987 for this moment. A combination of eight near-perfect innings from Corbin Burnes, paired with a final frame from Josh Hader, has produced the second-ever no-hitter in franchise history. Burnes was literally unhittable all night long, with all of his pitches working for him. Seven of the first nine batters he faced went down on strikeouts. Milwaukee Brewers beat reporter Adam McCalvy announced on Friday that the team has named their minor-league players of the month for August.  In total, four players received the honor.    Brewers Minor League honors for August: IF Freddy Zamora and IF/OF Jackson Chourio named players of the month. If you are unfamiliar with Hedbert Perez, consider this your introduction. After a mid season update, he is ranked as the Brewers fourth best prospect according to MLB Pipeline.  Given his scouting profile and performance to date, fourth may be too low of a ranking. Recently, the MLB Pipeline Top 100 prospects list was updated.  With the updated rankings, the Milwaukee Brewers now have two prospects in the top 100.   There also was some movement within the organizations top 30. Sal Frelick, the Brewers 15th overall pick in this years draft, has entered the top 100.  He slots in as the 97th ranked prospect.  The second player is Garrett Mitchell.  He retained his place in the top 100 and moved to the 56th ranked spot.  Leaving the top 100 was Brice Turang.  He was bumped out of the rankings due to the influx of new…
