Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell is meeting with the Cleveland Guardians to discuss their managerial vacancy, according to multiple reports. Counsell to Cleveland? The Guardians had received permission to interview Counsell on Friday after requesting to meet with him on Wednesday. Counsell, who’s been the Brewers’ manager since 2015, is going to Progressive Field to meet with the Guardians, according to the Associated Press. Even though he had a spectacular debut as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, Damian Lillard had himself a rather rough night in the 127-110 loss against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. Lillard finished Sunday’s contest with just six points, going 2-for-12 from the field, and an abysmal six turnovers. The Milwaukee Bucks kicked off their season on Thursday with a 118-117 win against the Philadelphia 76ers.  Both teams were sporting some new looks on their teams. The Bucks have new head coach Adrian Griffin after the firing of Mike Budenholzer, and of course, the swap of Jrue Holiday for superstar Damian Lillard. Coming off a thrilling season-opening win against the Philadelphia 76ers, Giannis Antetokounmpo has once again etched his name in the record books. Giannis Surpasses Kareem Abdul-Jabbar In the Milwaukee Buck’s home opener, Antetokounmpo became the Bucks’ all-time leader in most made field goals, a record previously held by Bucks legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at 5,902.
