The Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks will play on Thursday night.  For the Bucks, it is the final game of their six-game West Coast swing.  After opening the trip with a loss to the Clippers, they won three in row against the Lakers, Blazers, and Kings.  The nearly won a fourth straight game against the Warriors, but blew a 10-point fourth quarter lead to lose 122-121.  A win tonight will give the Bucks a rare winning road trip out West, while a loss would lead to an also rare .500 trip. The Brewers have lost three straight games after winning in walk-off fashion on Opening Day.  The Crew will look to right the ship and get back to winning ways behind the right arm of Freddy Peralta.  Peralta, who has pitched out of the bullpen for about a season and a half, unexpectedly won the Brewers’ fifth starting role out of Spring Training.  Peralta did appear out of the pen on Opening Day.  He pitched two scoreless innings, walked three, and struck out six. Davante Adams, without a doubt, was the best wide receiver in the NFL last season.  In addition, he put together one of the greatest individual seasons in Packers’ history.  Adams caught 115 passes, a team record.  He also caught 18 touchdown passes, which led the NFL and tied the team record for touchdown receptions in a season.  Adams also had 1,374 yards receiving and was within reach of the franchise record in that category, too.  Adams ended 2020 with a Pro Bowl nomination and was a First Team All Pro for the first time in his career.  As great as…

In what has become an early frustration for many fans, the Brewers’ offense struggled to produce early as their opponents plated runs.  In the first road game of 2021, the Brewers mustered just four hits and three runs, losing 5-3 to their rivals from the northside of Chicago. Early on Easter Sunday, it was reported that Jrue Holiday had signed a four-year $160 max extension to remain with the Milwaukee Bucks for the long-term.  This past offseason, the Bucks traded Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, and three first round picks to the Pelicans for Holiday.  He had one guaranteed year left on his contract, with an option for 2022.  The signing is just another in a recent series of high-profile athletes choosing Milwaukee/Wisconsin as their long-term home.  Indeed, these recent signings are evidence of just how much the culture of Milwaukee teams have changed throughout the years.  At one…
