The Milwaukee Brewers entered Sunday with the opportunity to win their series against the San Diego Padres, one of the best teams in the National League. On Saturday night, rookie infielder Caleb Durbin hit a walk-off home run to give the Brewers a 4-3 win and evened the series. Milwaukee had lost 2-0 on Friday night. The Milwaukee Bucks famously fired former head coach Mike Budenholzer following the 2022-23 NBA season. Even though he had led Milwaukee to its first NBA Championship in 50 seasons during the 2020-21 season, he had failed to lead the Bucks anywhere close to a position where they could win another one.
