Following the Packers’ 40-14 throttling of the Tennessee Titans, the Packers and their fans were riding high.  On Sunday, they take on their older rival, the Chicago Bears.  On the line for the Packers is the NFC’s number one seed.  For the Bears, a playoff berth.  However, the Packers were dealt a demoralizing blow on Thursday afternoon.  Pro Bowl left tackle, David Bakhtiari, apparently tore his ACL in practice. The loss of David Bakhtiari is, obviously, a serious blow to the Packers’ offensive line.  After all, he is the best left tackle in the NFL according to multiple grading metrics. …

One of the biggest storylines of the 2020 season has been which players the Packers will resign for next year and beyond.  Going into this season, Kenny Clark, David Bakhtiari, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Corey Linsley, and Kevin King were the players considered most likely to be brought back.  Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, revenue is down and, therefore, so is the 2021 salary cap.  It is just not possible to bring them all back.  Kenny Clark and David Bakhitari already have received extensions, but speculation remains regarding the remaining players.  Most notable are running backs Aaron Jones and…

To say that the Milwaukee Bucks have gotten off to a slow start this season would be an understatement.  However, it should be noted that they were a Giannis missed free throw away from forcing overtime on Opening Night.  Then they blew out the Warriors in the second-most lopsided Christmas Day win in NBA history.  Their 20-point loss to the Knicks on Sunday night is most likely an anomaly.  The Bucks will look to right their ship in back-to-back games against the Miami Heat. The Miami Heat Thus Far Famously, or infamously in Milwaukee, the Miami Heat knocked the Bucks…
