The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their fourth preseason game, this one to the Chicago Bulls, 127-104. None of the Bucks starters, including Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, played in the matchup. Other players who sat out included Brook Lopez, George Hill, Bobby Portis, Grayson Allen, and Khris Middleton. Of course, Middleton will not be seeing the court for a while as he recovers from wrist surgery. In fact, the Bucks only played eight of the nine players who dressed for this game. Portis was the only one who dressed that did not play. It was a great opportunity for young players…

Former Packers

The Green Bay Packers will look to get back in the win column in their Week Six matchup with the New York Jets. It seems as if the Jets may be looking for a little inside help as they have worked out former Packers defensive player Innis Gaines this week. Gaines appeared in one game for the Packers last season. Green Bay had originally signed Gaines as an undrafted free agent and assigned him to their practice squad. Gaines was a real feel-good story in Green Bay, having cracked the NFL after two knee surgeries. During his rehab, he had…

The Green Bay Packers are one of, if not the most, historic franchises in the history of the NFL. Therefore, when a player moves up one of their all-time lists, it is something worth noting. This Sunday, Aaron Jones has the chance to move up the all-time rushing attempts list. That is, he almost certainly will if Matt LaFleur keeps his word about finding ways to get him more touches. In the second half of the game, the Packers defense allowed 17 points. It was not just the points allowed, but the lack of in-game adjustments that had fans frustrated. Aaron Rodgers interview

The Green Bay Packers fell to 3-2 with an embarrassing collapse against the New York Giants in London. After leading the whole game, the Packers lost 27-22 after the offense was shutout in the second half. Make no mistake, the defense did them no favors either. In fact, it could be argued that for the first time in years, the Packers special teams was Green Bay’s best unit in this game. With the Minnesota Vikings’ victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the Packers are now one game out of first place in the NFC North. Of course, it is…

Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers lost a frustrating game in London to the New York Giants. After scoring 20 points in the first half, the Giants shutout the Packers offense in the second half. There are a variety of reasons for this, and one could point to abandoning the run game as the leading one. However, whenever the Packers lose a game, Aaron Rodgers and others will be asked if they need to add another wide receiver, namely Odell Beckham Jr. The Pro Bowl wide receiver has long been linked to the Packers, and Rodgers has expressed his admiration for OBJ…

The Green Bay Packers could not do enough to get the win over the New York Giants in London, falling 27-22. At one point, they were up 20-10 and looked to be in control of the game. Unfortunately, the defense allowed far too many big plays and the Giants shutout the offense in the second half. It was truly a tale of two halves, and not a good story for the Packers. Three Studs Aaron Rodgers Aaron Rodgers struggled throwing deep, but was still methodical in the short game. If Matt LaFleur can convince him to lay off throwing deep,…

Amari Rodgers Green Bay Packers Indianapolis Colts

The Green Bay Packers are in the midst of their first ever international game. A surprising revelation on the game’s opening kick off was that rookie Christian Watson was the Packers’ kick returner. That role had belonged to Amari Rodgers up until Week Five. Rodgers, though, remained the Packers’ punt returner. One has to wonder how long he will that job, too. After fair catching the first Giants’ punt, he got the chance to return the second one. He fumbled it, adding to fans’ on-going frustration with the second-year wide receiver. Luckily, the Packers recovered the fumble; but fans took…

Brewers win

The Milwaukee Brewers will almost certainly have a different catching battery in 2023. Omar Narvaez is going to be a free agent and the catcher everyone believed would spend the season as his backup, Pedro Severino, has decided to test the free agency waters again. Severino was originally signed by the Brewers in November of 2021 to backup 2021 All-Star Omar Narvaez. He got off to a torrid start in spring training, hitting well over .300 and displaying so power at the plate. Unfortunately, he tested positive for a banned substance and was suspended for 80 games. As a result…

Giannis Antetokounmpo Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their second consecutive preseason game on Thursday afternoon. This loss, though, was very different than their one to the Memphis Grizzlies last week. For one, Giannis Antetokounmpo played in this contest. However, the drastic difference was the venue: the United Arab Emirates. For the first time ever, the NBA played a game in the Middle East. This game was held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Jevon Carter Fans of the Milwaukee Bucks were ecstatic when the team brought back veteran point guard Jevon Carter. “Bull Dog” was not used as much as he probably…
