On paper this game should be easy for Milwaukee. However, a win in the NBA is never granted and a victory tonight is very important for the Bucks this late in the regular season.  Being .5 game behind Brooklyn, Milwaukee controls their own destiny for the second seed.  If they win every game remaining they will finish ahead of the Nets since they won the season series for the tie-breaker.  Clinching the second seed could be huge, as it would give them home court advantage for a potential series with Brooklyn.  All three games played between the Nets and Bucks…

Well, the game against Houston couldn’t have gone much worse. Not only did the Bucks lose to one of the worst teams in the league, but Giannis got hurt also.  They gave up 143 points to the lowly Rockets and 50 of them came from Kevin Porter Jr. Truly a display of poor defense. Can the Bucks bounce back after such a bad loss? Giannis Hurt Again After missing several games with an injured knee, it appears Giannis could miss multiple games again after spraining his ankle.  He originally tweaked it in the game against the Hornets, and then twisted…

The Milwaukee Bucks take on the opponent who started their roller coaster ride of a season two months ago, the Phoenix Suns.  Back on February 10th, the Bucks lost a close game in which Giannis missed a pull-up mid-range shot at the buzzer.  Sending Milwaukee into a five game losing skid in which many fans again called for Mike Budenholzer to be fired.  After that skid they went on to win 14 of their next 15 contests to get back on track.  The Suns game started the outcry for Budenholzer’s job, only for him hush most of the critics.  Can…

It seems in the blink of an eye that the Atlanta Hawks have gone from having a miserable season to finding themselves in the middle of the playoff picture.  With a record of 30-25, they are sitting in 4th place in the East right behind Milwaukee.  Though the Bucks are sitting well ahead of them (4.5 games), credit must be given to Nate McMillan and his staff. With the regular season being about 75% over this will be a good test for both sides before the playoffs. Giannis Injury Watch Giannis Antetokounmpo missed his sixth consecutive game Wednesday afternoon against…

According to a report from Michael Scotto, Joe Johnson is looking to resurrect his NBA career and the first team to give him a look will be the Milwaukee Bucks.   The 39 year old is a seven-time All-Star who can still shoot as evidenced when he won the BIG3 MVP and by his performance on the USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup team.  In all likelihood this would be Johnson’s final shot to win an NBA championship.  Can the Bucks bring him to the promised land? Can Johnson Still Contribute? Johnson averaged 11 points, nine rebounds and 6.5 assists in 26 minutes…

No Giannis, no problem for the Milwaukee Bucks tonight.  While the reigning MVP wasn’t on the court, he made his presence felt on the sideline.  Wearing a headband and facemask, Giannis was seen celebrating and goofing around after every made shot by his teammates.  When all was said and done Milwaukee defeated Indiana 140-113 for their seventh consecutive victory on Monday night. Bucks on Fire from the Start As soon as the opening tip off, Milwaukee couldn’t be stopped.  They came out red hot and got out to an 11-3 lead before getting on another run to go up 24-7. …

Two of the top three teams in the NBA’s Eastern Conference are going head to head Wednesday night.  The Bucks have been streaking but Philadelphia hasn’t slowed down enough for them to catch up yet.   Can Milwaukee make up a game against the current conference leader?  Let me get you caught up! Philly’s Star is Hurt As many of you know, Joel Embiid is injured and won’t be available for this game.  Luckily he avoided serious injury when his knee buckled during Friday’s game against Washington. The initial thought of many around was that Joel must’ve torn something in his…

In game two of the series, the 24-14 Bucks faceoff with the 14-23 Wizards after Milwaukee won 125-119 on Saturday night.  The previous game was a tale of the two stars. Giannis Antetokounmpo had his second consecutive triple double with 33 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.  Not to be outdone, Russell Westbrook put up 42 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists of his own.   This was arguably the best game of Westbrook’s season so far as he had to make up for the absence Bradley Beal.  Can these MVPs repeat their performance of the past game? Giannis Making a…

Yes, I know the title sounds preposterous.  But hear me out, there might be a real chance of this happening.  Just think of how great of a match KAT and Giannis would make.  The idea of Towns in a Bucks uniform along with Giannis, Middleton and Jrue is a match made in heaven.  While there are still a lot of dominos that would have to tumble first, I’m here to say that Karl-Anthony Towns could be a future Milwaukee Buck.  Let me outline my case of how it could be done. The Timberwolves Are Far From Competing At the time…

Prior to this five game win streak, the Bucks beat the Nuggets in Denver, their first game without Jrue Holiday.  In the Mile High City, Milwaukee pulled off a 112-125 victory thanks largely to Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo.  Giannis scored 30, Khris scored 29, Torrey Craig even made three triples.  While Jokic had 35 for the evening, no other Nugget scored over 24 points. It was a total team effort. Immediately following that game, Milwaukee seemed to have lost its identity and lost five consecutive games.  Since then however, the Bucks have rattled off five straight wins with the…
