Going into week 3 of the 2022 NFL season, the wide receiver position remains in flux.  Sammy Watkins had a nice game Vs Chicago, however Green Bay has yet to have a wide receiver eclipse 100 yards in a game this season.  Additionally, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are both top five on the team in targets.  It was seemingly the game plan all along to get the running backs involved in the passing game, but you still would like to see a little more production out of the wide receivers.  The Packers were named a great suitor for a…

Four Packers wide receivers sat out of practice today.  Allen Lazard, Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson and Randall Cobb. Lazard has been dealing with an ankle injury since week 1. He was back for week 2 and all indications are that he has not suffered any setbacks. This may be precautionary. Watkins and Watson are both dealing with hamstring injuries. This is very concerning as both are speed guys and hamstring injuries can often linger. Randall Cobb missed yesterday’s practice as well with an illness. It is unclear what the illness is but it is something to watch. The big concern is that all but…

There is no debate that Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are two of the best to ever play the quarterback position.  The biggest difference between them?  The amount of championships.  Granted that is a major difference, championships are a team sport.  THAT, however, is a different argument for a different day.  The mutual respect between these two goes beyond just the football field.  Multiple years in a row now these two have participated in “The Match.”  A celebrity golf tournament each year that features some of the best of best celebrity golfers.  As both teams gear up for week three,…

Packers’ OG Jon Runyan Jr. was certainly taken back by the theories he was hearing about his father.  Jon Runyan Sr. is the NFL’s Vice President of rules and policy administration.  A position he has held since since 2016.  Once Tampa Bay fans on Reddit found this out, they had some pretty wild accusations regarding Mike Evans’ one game suspension being upheld: Jon Runyan Jr. Responds To Allegations: He was just doing his job.  He’s been doing that job for over half a decade now. It just so happens we’re playing the Buccaneers this week.  Everybody’s trying to make it…

The 2022 off-season was chalk full of former Packers players signing elsewhere.  The Green Bay Packers certain shed a lot of their 2021 53 man roster. Many went to division rivals like Lucas Patrick (Bears), Za’Darius Smith (Vikings), and Chandon Sullivan (Vikings).  Others decided they wanted to be traded to the Raiders (Adams).  Others chose to follow Nathaniel Hackett to Denver (Billy Turner).  There is one, however, who has yet to find a home.  Cornerback Kevin King.  And it would appear he will remain without and NFL home for the 2022 NFL season. Kevin King To Skip 2022 Season, Return…

David Bakhtiari has been a topic of conversation in Green Bay for nearly 2 years.  December of this year will mark two full years since his ACL tear.  That is less than three months away. That ACL tear is still keeping him off the field.  It has been getting to the point that the coaching staff doesn’t know what to say anymore.  Matt LaFleur was asked about Bakhtiari playing on Sunday versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His response was startling. Matt LaFleur Responds To If Bakhtiari Playing Sunday: Matt LaFleur says “I have no idea” if David Bakhtiari will play…

Green Bay Packers fans seem to have adopted third string quarterbacks as their own flesh and blood. I am not sure if I have seen a fan base treasure the back up to the back up at the quarterback position more than Packers fans. Most notably was during the 2021 season when Packers fans fell in love with QB Kurt Benkert.  There was obvious agony on packers social media when Benkert was released. However, most fans just wished him the best no matter what was next. Well today we found out what is next. Kurt Benkert has officially signed with…

Packers sign, DQ Thomas

The Green Bay Packers have made a move on the defensive side of the ball. More specifically they have added depth to their inside linebackers going into Week 3.  The Packers signed ILB DQ Thomas. The Green Bay Packer didn’t start the season like they wanted to.  A 23-7 loss to the Vikings in Minnesota was a rough start to the season to say the least.  It was a long week of trash talk from Vikings fans after that one.  However the NFL is a rapidly changing league and just one week later the Vikings looked completely different.  The Eagles must’ve learned from what the Packers did wrong and did the exact opposite.  Darius Slay matched up one on one against Justin Jefferson all night.  Something Green Bay didn’t do with Jaire Alexnder. Darius Slay…

The Green Bah Packers looked like a completely different team in week two.  After their week one drubbing vs Minnesota, the Packers turned it around vs Chicago.  A 27-10 win against your bitter rivals will do wonders for any teams’ confidence.  The passing game, run game, and pass defense was on one all night long.  However, the Packers have allowed a ghastly 153 rushing yards per game in the opening two weeks.  DT Sheldon Richardson could help with that. Sheldon Richardson To Green Bay? Freddie Boston points out how much help Sheldon Richardson would be for Green Bay’s defense: The…
