Green Bay’s 2021 regular season is a wrap, they’ve locked up the #1 seed and have their sights set on a post season run. Before we move onto the post season, here are our Top 10 Moments of Green Bays 2021 Regular Season: #10: Kurt Benkert drags Mike Florio I know this is a little unorthodox, but we are starting with something that happened off the field. Mike Florio (who runs ProFootballTalk on Twitter) found himself on the losing end of a twitter exchange with Packers’ QB Kurt Benkert. Kurt spoke out about ProFootballTalk putting out false info when Aaron…
With the Cowboys’ loss and the Packers win last Sunday, the Packers can use their starters as much or as little as they want in Week 18. This is an ideal week for the Packers to get answers at these three positions. Left Tackle (LT) The highly anticipated return of David Bakhtiari could happen in the final week of the season vs Detroit. David Bakhtiari hasn’t played a down in the NFL for over a year, and the surprising great play from Yosh Nijman during the season could make things difficult for Matt Lafleur. There is no question that when…
Over the last five weeks of the season Aaron Rodgers has put himself in prime position to secure his 4th NFL MVP award. However, one former Chicago Sports writer (who has a vote) will not be voting for him for his own reasons. Hub Arkush is a member of the Media Associated Press that votes on the NFL MVP. He made an interesting statement today that he will not be voting for Rodgers for the 2021 NFL MVP, but not because of his play on the field. Reasons Included in his statement were because he is a “bad guy” and…
On November 21, 2021, Green Bay has a chance to even the All-Time Series record between the Packers and Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium. The all-time series at the Bank started lopsided in Minnesota’s favor but has taken a 180 degree turn the last few years. 2016 – 2018 Prior to Matt Lafleur taking over as Head Coach In 2019, Green Bay had been winless at the Bank (0-3). 2016: The first loss came on opening night for U.S. Bank Stadium on September 18th, 2016. The Packers came up short 17-14 in that contest. 2017: The very next year presented…

Wisconsin will have a team visit the White House for the first time since 2011. Following their Super Bowl win in 2010-11, the Green Bay Packers visited President Obama. Now the Milwaukee Bucks will get their chance to visit the President… https://twitter.com/TimBontemps/status/1454480897777012739?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1454480897777012739%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fclutchpoints.com%2Fbucks-news-bucks-date-for-white-house-visit-revealed%2F The Bucks are expected to travel to the White House to celebrate the team’s 2021 NBA Championship victory on November 8th, 2021. While hurdles remain before this can actually take place, the NFL has given the Packers permission to sell their stock in their team for the first time in over a decade. This will be only the sixth time in franchise history. The previous sales were in: 1923, 1935, 1950, 1997, and 2011. Why the Sale? The Green Bay Packers have made it clear that they will not be asking for any public tax dollars for future additions or remodeling at Lambeau Field. This paves the way for Green Bay to fund future projects. Some examples include video boards, upgraded concourse…
Wisconsin has been a model of consistency for nearly 3 decades now. Since 1991 the badgers have had only FOUR losing seasons, the last one coming in 2001. During that time span they are a respectable 16-10 in bowl games. However as a Badger fan, do you ever go into a season with genuine National Championship aspirations? https://twitter.com/ryanbartow/status/1210727198954360832?s=21 Make the QB a priority. It is unfortunate that Russell Wilson’s efforts did not put Wisconsin on the map for QBs. In his loan season at Wisconsin he; was named third-team All-American by Yahoo Sports and Phil Steele, honorable mention All-American by…
1. Kevin King is struggling.. again: Monday night’s game against the Lions brought on yet another forgettable performance by Kevin King. This time it came on National Television and started on the Lions VERY FIRST drive. Green Bay forced Detroit into a third and short situation on their opening drive, however Kevin King allows a near 50 yard completion to Quinez Cephus to allow the drive to continue. Kevin King had additional missed assignments and tackles throughout the night, including getting hurdled. https://twitter.com/NFL/status/1440150019139465229?s=20 2. Eric Stokes is earning it: https://twitter.com/Fear_Jaire/status/1440164395900813313?s=20 Don’t let Kevin King’s sub-par play distract you from the…
Olivier Vernon or Benardrick McKinney? Two Pro-Bowl linebackers available in free agency the same year that your team happens to need said position. Is that a sign? Olivier Vernon: With linebacker Za’Darius Smith out for the next three weeks, Olivier Vernon would be a perfect short-term fix. Vernon recorded NINE sacks and 28 QB pressures in 2020 in only 14 games. The catch? He ruptured his Achilles in January 2021. This has been a significant injury that has severely impacted his mobility. However, an injury like this typically takes six months to heal (for the average person) and Vernon has…
