The Packers offense was a mess on Sunday. Outside of one drive and a couple of plays here and there, the offense looked lost. Throws were missed. Passes were dropped. Defensive players came through the line unblocked. Aaron Rodgers had some interesting comments about play execution after the game. Aaron Rodgers Comments On Play Execution https://twitter.com/BillHuberNFL/status/1581750852360212481?s=20&t=wcInZ_Vlmx2hbeLrfOgBgg Rodgers wants to see a more simplistic approach. He says that the plays are there but they are just not executing well. Anyone who watched even a quarter of the game could see that the offense was not executing well. Rodgers made it clear…
Stop me if you’ve heard this one. Matt LaFleur saying in a postgame press conference that the amount of touches they got Aaron Jones is unacceptable. Matt LaFleur had eerily similar postgame comments on Aaron Jones usage following the Jets loss. Give the Jets defensive line credit. They gave the running game fits all day but Aaron Jones having three touches for the entire first half is unacceptable. LaFleur talked about it last week but apparently it didn’t translate to this…
The Packers lost to the Jets in embarrassing fashion on Sunday. The offense looked completely lost and while the defense put together a nice first half, they imploded in the second half. The special teams even got in on the fun with giving up a blocked punt for a touchdown. After the game, Packers legend John Kuhn had a grim comment about the team. Many replies questioned him about what part of the team is broken. The comment speaks…
The Brewers made a miscalculation when they traded Josh Hader. Purely a financial decision, Hader was traded to the San Diego Padres. At the time, the Brewers were first in the NL Central with their sights set on the postseason. Now, it is Josh Hader who is continuing on in the postseason while the Brewers sit at home. Josh Hader had an amazing NLDS. Brewers fans were quick to react on social media to Josh Hader’s performance in the NLDS. The Packers are preparing for their matchup against the Jets on Sunday. There were a couple of roster moves made Saturday which often can give some hints on the status of injured players. Saturday’s roster moves show promising news for Packers star player Rashan Gary. With Rashan Gary questionable with a toe injury, there was a question whether the Packers would call up some help from the practice squad. The Packers did not end up calling anyone up. La’Darius Hamilton and Kobe Jones…
The college football season is heating up and this week is a big one. There are many top 25 matchups this weekend with one of them being in the Big Ten. No. 5 Michigan takes on no. 10 Penn State in Ann Arbor this weekend and many NFL scouts are in attendance. The Packers are out scouting at the massive Big Ten matchup this weekend. Rashan Gary was a Michigan product and that has turned out…
The Packers have been very reliant on rookies this season and for the most part, they have shown up. Romeo Doubs has looked like a WR1 for a lot of the season. Quay Walker looks unreal and many other rookies have filled in here and there. This week, the Packers may need another rookie to step up. Packers rookie Kingsley Enagbare needs to step up this week. Kingsley Enagbare Needs To Step Up Rashan Gary ends the week of practice being questionable with a toe injury. Matt LaFleur is “concerned” about it and it is unclear whether it will keep…
The Packers cannot seem to shake the injury bug. It seems that once one player gets healthy, another starts dealing with a nagging injury. Aaron Rodgers and Rashan Gary are dealing with injuries. Sammy Watkins is already on the IR. It seems another receiver could be joining him. Matt LaFleur said in a press conference that Christian Watson might be headed to the IR. Christian Watson To IR? https://twitter.com/itszacharyj/status/1580956163218190336?s=21&t=4H0UAgb1X5Ixc4IbwUy8IQ This is not great news for Christian Watson. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury throughout the season. It caused him to miss practice time and puts his status in…
Last year was not a great year for Mason Crosby. He has had down seasons throughout his career but the Packers have stuck by him. The hope was that this year he would bounce back. This looks to be the case so far. Mason Crosby is the only kicker to do this in 2022.
