The Green Bay Packers are coming off a thrilling, but disappointing 34-31 loss to the Minnesota Vikings this past Sunday. After a slow start and trailing 16-3 in the second quarter, Aaron Rodgers put on a show in the second half. He went 10-11 for 197 yards, and three touchdowns with a 158.33 NFL passer rating. In light of the recent Aaron Jones injury, the Green Bay Packers hosted a workout for former Lions running back Kerryon Johnson. Aaron Jones is only expected to miss a few weeks, but with AJ Dillon being the starter, Green Bay needs depth at the position. Kerryon Johnson was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft. In three seasons with Detroit, he started in 16 games and totaled 1,225 rushing yards with eight touchdowns. On Wednesday, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers tested positive for Covid-19 and was immediately ruled out for today’s game against the Chiefs. After much confusion and uproar about him being “immunized” instead of vaccinated, Rodgers guest starred on the Pat McAfee Show to tell his side of the vaccine situation on Friday. During that interview, he mentioned he researched and realized he’s allergic to an ingredient in the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. The 2021 NFL draft is officially over, and the Packers came out with addressing every need they had coming into the 2021 season. With their last selection at the 256th pick, Green Bay adds depth in the backfield with Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill.
