The cornerback position is sort of an underrated position of need for Green Bay as the NFL draft is vastly approaching. They re-signed Rasul Douglas, Jaire Alexander will be returning from injury, and Eric Stokes had a tremendous rookie season. However, with Joe Barry’s defense, the Packers can use a true slot corner to help this defense take it to the next step. Jalen Pitre, out of Baylor, can be the missing piece Barry needs. College Career at Baylor Pitre played five seasons at Baylor, but had his breakout year in 2021. The red-shirt senior earned an 88.6 overall defensive…

The Packers are heading into the 2022 NFL Draft with a huge hole to fill at wide receiver. Not only were there players hitting free agency this year, but Green Bay traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. They also just lost Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the Chiefs, and they lack speed at the position. This is my third installment in the series of wide receiver draft prospects that Green Bay can pick in this year’s draft. They can look for Jaivon Heiligh, a receiver who they could choose in the second or third round. The Packers can also consider…

As mentioned in my last article about Coastal Carolina wide receiver Jaivon Heiligh, the Green Bay Packers have a huge wide receiver problem. They head into the 2021 offseason with essentially Amari Rodgers, Juwann Winfree, and Randall Cobb on the active roster. Green Bay will possibly release Randall Cobb to save some salary cap, but nonetheless the organization needs to prioritize in drafting a wide receiver in 2022. With Heiligh being a mid-round prospect Green Bay can focus on, Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks is a prospect they’ll need to move up in the first round to draft. They haven’t…

The Packers head into the 2022 NFL Draft with 22 players set to become free agents, including three of their starting wide receivers. Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling may all be on the market, but Green Bay can look to re-sign one or two of them. However, there is no doubt that with a wide receiver class as deep as this one, the Packers will look to grab an offensive weapon. Here, we’ll take a deeper look at Jaivon Heiligh, who could be a gem in the early rounds of the NFL Draft come April. College Career Stats…

Green Bay’s season has come to a close after a shocking and disappointing loss in the divisional round against the 49ers. A lot of questions remain on how the roster will look in 2022 with a group of big names potentially leaving the Packers, including Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. The team has 22 players who will be free agents next year, but will look towards bouncing back. For this first mock draft, I took a look at positions in need with Jordan Love as the starting quarterback for Green Bay next season. This mock draft was constructed using the…
