Following their victory over Indiana, the Badgers head back home for a matchup against the Michigan Wolverines. Wisconsin came from behind once again, defeating the Hoosiers 74-69. The Badgers would go on to close out the game with a 13-4 run led by Johnny Davis. Davis finished the game with a game high 30 points along with grabbing 12 rebounds. Senior guard Brad Davison also provided 21 points, knocking down three triples and making all ten of his free throw attempts. Following Wisconsin’s big road victory over Michigan State, the Badgers now head back home with a matchup against Rutgers. The Badgers defeated the Spartans 70-62 Tuesday evening at the Breslin Center. It’s the first time Wisconsin has beaten both Michigan State and Purdue on the road in the same season since 1963. Wisconsin was once again led by sophomore phenom Johnny Davis with 25 points on 8-11 shooting. Things didn’t go the way Wisconsin hoped following their matchup with Illinois Wednesday evening. The Badgers fell to the Illini 80-67 with their worst three point shooting effort on the season. Wisconsin would finish 3-24 from beyond the arc, connecting on all three makes in the second half. Along with the cold shooting, the Badgers struggled containing star Illinois center Kofi Cockburn. Following their loss to Michigan State, the Badgers look to turn things around with a matchup against the Nebraska Cornhuskers Thursday evening. Then 8th ranked Wisconsin lost at the Kohl Center 86-74 to the 14th ranked Spartans. The Badgers were led by Johnny Davis with 25 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Following their small break, Wisconsin is back for their next Big Ten clash. The Badgers travel down to Evanston, IL with a matchup with the Northwestern Wildcats. The #8 Badgers took care of business last week defeating then #16 Ohio State 78-68.
