Antonio Freeman is one of the most beloved Green Bay Packers players in recent memory. Antonio Freeman Wants the Packers to Make a Splash in Free Agency
Despite pleas from fans, the Green Bay Packers have never been major players in free agency. Aside from Reggie White, Charles Woodson, and Julius Peppers, the Packers have not really gone out to bring in big-name players. Of course, 2019 was a big year for the Packers in terms of free agent signings. That year, the signed Za”Darius Smith, Preston Smith, and Adrian Amos.
The Packers are going into the 2023 season with -$9 million in salary cap space. This, of course, will be fixed in due time with contract restructures and roster cuts. Once those moves have been completed, Antonio Freeman wants to the Packers front office to be players on the free agent market:

With Allen Lazard stating his plan to leave Green Bay and Randall Cobb’s uncertain future, wide receiver could be a prime free agency target for the Packers. Of course, one would hope they find a better option than Sammy Watkins, who was released before the season.
