    Another opposing player blitzes the Bucks for 35+ points

    For the ninth time this season in 39 games, the Milwaukee Bucks had an opposing player score 35 or more points against them. Charlotte’s Terry Rozier on Friday night scored 39 points in the Hornets’ 138-109 win over the Bucks. Five times in the last 18 days an opponent player has scored 35 or more points against the Bucks.

    Eight opposing players have scored 35+ points vs. Bucks this season

    Chicago Bull DeMar DeRozan has scored 35+ points against the Bucks in two games this season. He had 36 on November 23 and then scored 42 on December 28. He is one of eight players (in addition to Rozier) with 35+ points against the Bucks in 2022-23. The others: Trae Young (Atlanta), Jonas Valanciunas (New Orleans), Jayson Tatum (Boston), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City), and Anthony Davis (L.A. Lakers).

    In the Bucks history (since 1968-69), the player that scored 35 or more points in the most games against the Bucks is Michael Jordan. He did it 25 times. Second most is LeBron James who has 12 35+ point games against Milwaukee. He is followed by Allen Iverson (10), Karl Malone (9) and Dominique Wilkins (7).

    In the Giannis era (since the 2013-14 season), there have been 14 players who have had multiple 35-point games versus the Bucks. The aforementioned DeMar DeRozan tops this list with five games against the Bucks with 35 or more points.

    Karl Malone holds record for most points scored against Milwaukee Bucks

    Most points scored by an opponent in a game versus the Bucks is 61 by Karl Malone on January 27, 1990, in Utah. Three players, Bradley Beal, LeBron James, and Jermaine O’Neal each had 55 points in a game against the Bucks, second most against the team.
