Allen Lazard and Aaron Rodgers will likely be teammates in 2023. The pending trade between the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets will likely get done sometime between now and the next few months. It has been over three weeks since Aaron Rodgers declared he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023. However, with seemingly no progress toward that trade actually happening, multiple other teams have reportedly entered the mix for the four-time MVP quarterback. That being said, it would be fairly surprising if the Green Bay Packers chose to trade him anywhere else. Allen Lazard has likely been asked about the trade quite a few times since he was traded to the Jets. He had a response to those who have been asking him those questions/

Last month Allen Lazard signed a four-year, $44 million deal with the Jets and will reunite with former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. The Jets have been all-in on Aaron Rodgers at this point. It’s either him or going back to Zach Wilson starting for their team.
Allen Lazad spent five years in Green Bay, however, only four of which saw actual playing time (his rookie year he only had one target). During the four years Allen Lazard saw real playing time he accumulated 2,229 receiving yards, 20 touchdowns, and 168 receptions. Lazard also established himself as one of the best blocking wide receivers in the NFL during that time. The Jets hope to get even better production out of him during his time in New York.
