The long drawn out drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers is, presumably, close to a close. While it is not certain that Rodgers will report to training camp, based on his latest Instagram post (which is identical to Davante Adams’), this will be his last season with the Packers. Benjamin Allbright, an NFL insider, claims to have knowledge of what team Rodgers wants to play for when his time in Green Bay is at an end.
Because that's where Rodgers wants to be

Benjamin Allbright is a host and reporter who covers the Denver Broncos. It was falsely reported earlier that the Packers and Broncos had officially come to a deal before the Packers backed out. Allbright dispelled this rumor on social media.
That's not my understanding of the situation.
There was some back channel negotiation but no official negotiation occurred. The Packers did tell Aaron Rodgers that they would trade him early this off-season, and then walked that back per sourcing on his side.

While Aaron Rodgers’ camp claims that the Packers promised to trade him, the Packers front office has publicly stated that they are not going to trade him. While there are those who probably do know the truth of the situation, there is no real way for anyone outside of inner circles to know of it at this moment in time.

Aaron Rodgers Has an Agent Who Has Been Through This Before
Aaron Rodgers is represented by David Dunn. Dunn was once the representative of Carson Palmer. It was Palmer who famously retired in order to force his way out of Cincinnati.
David Dunn repped Carson Palmer who "retired" to force his way out of a situation he didn't want to be in.
Aaron Rodgers has Dunn repping him.

While this in and of itself is not any indication of what Rodgers will do when training camp starts, it does make it less certain that he will just show up and play. It is more than clear that Rodgers’ days in Green Bay are numbered. If there is a way he could retire, but still be able to play for Denver, he will. This would confirm Adam Schefter’s initial report during the NFL Draft. In that report, Schefter said Rodgers was no longer interested in playing with the Packers.
