An All-Pro Buffalo Bills wide receiver had some words Sunday
Emotions were high between members of the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills Coming out of the tunnel on Sunday Night Football. Cameras caught Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs and Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander getting into a verbal sparring match before the game. That wasn’t the only time the two teams would get heated. Packers rookie linebacker Quay Walker was ejected after shoving a Bills member.
Following the game, Diggs was asked about the pregame incident. According to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, Diggs made an obscenity-laced response:
“I don’t know who the F— started it. I finished it,” Diggs said
That’s a strong statement by the All-Pro wide receiver. The Packers had a hard time stopping the Bills during the early part of the game. Diggs had a massive part in the Bills’ win. He finished with six receptions for 108 yards and one touchdown.
The Packers’ defense looked out of sorts for most of the night. The Bills had 24 points by halftime. By that point, the Bills’ offense seemed content, for the most part, to manage the clock and play conservatively in the second half with a two-score lead. Bills quarterback Josh Allen had two interceptions in the game. One of which was caught by Alexander, but it came in the second half when the game seemed out of reach.
