Over the past two NFL seasons, the Green Bay Packers have had one of the league’s top running back duos, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. In 2022, the Green Bay pair were one of three duos/teammates to each reach 770 or more rushing yards in the season: Chicago’s David Montgomery and Justin Fields, Dallas’ Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard, and Green Bay’s Jones and Dillon. Jones had 1,121 rushing yards last year; Dillon had 770. A total of 32 players rushed for 770+ yards in the NFL last year.

AJ Dillon is one of 15 RBs to have 1,500 rushing yards and 12 rushing TDs in last two seasons

Dillon, however, is also making a name for himself. Over the past two years, he is one of 15 running backs to gain 1,500 rushing yards and score 12 or more rushing TDs in the last two seasons. Dillon had 1,573 rushing yards and 12 rushing TDs in the last two years.

Here are the 15 running backs (and two quarterbacks) who rushed for 1,500 or more yards and scored 12+ rushing TDs in the last two seasons.

Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, James Conner, Dalvin Cook, AJ Dillon, Austin Ekeler, Ezekiel Elliott.

Najee Harris, Derrick Henry, Jalen Hurts, Josh Jacobs, Joe Mixon, David Montgomery, Devin Singletary, Jonathan Taylor, Jamaal Williams.

AJ Dillon joined list for most consecutive games with a rushing TD

Dillon also became the sixth Green Bay Packers running back to have a rushing TD in five straight games last season. He joined Ryan Grant and Terdell Middleton (who each scored a rushing TD in six straight games) and Aaron Jones, Ahman Green and Brent Fullwood (who each rushed for a TD in their careers in five straight games).

Dillon also joined a group of Packers who scored a TD in five straight games, rushing and/or pass receiving. Thirteen Packers have scored a TD in five or more straight games. Topping the list is Davante Adams who scored a TD in eight straight games in the 2020 season.

Here are the 13 Packers who scored a TD in five or more straight games.

    8-Davante Adams
    7-Ahman Green
6-Randall Cobb, Ryan Grant, Ahman Green, Sterling Sharpe, Brent Fullwood, Terdell Middleton
5-AJ Dillon, Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan, Aaron Jones (twice), Davante Adams, Greg Jennings, Ahman Green, Antonio Freeman

Green Bay Packers RBs with 700 rushing yards and seven rushing TDs in a season

AJ also became the ninth Green Bay Packers running back to have 700 or more rushing yards in a season with seven rushing TDs. He joined Ahman Green and Jim Taylor (they did it five times), Aaron Jones (he did it three times), Edgar Lacy, Ryan Grant and Dorsey Levens (they did it twice), and Terdell Middleton, John Brockington and Dillon (they did it once in their careers).
