One NFL insider believes the Packers are leaning toward Jordan Love starting
The biggest storyline surrounding the Green Bay Packers this offseason is the decision from Aaron Rodgers, again. But the latest report on Wednesday morning suggests it just might be Jordan Love time for Green Bay.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter put out a report on TV Wednesday suggesting that it is “Increasingly likely Jordan Love will be the Packers starter in 2023. That comes just a day after the New York Jets flew to California to meet with Rodgers on Tuesday.
Former Packers writer Tyler Dunne added to the report as well:
This has been the #Packers plan. How they get there — trade partner, trade comp, public semantics — is secondary. They want to start Love. https://t.co/BrKbxK3rZW

After Rodgers completed his darkness retreat a few weeks back, things are starting to pick up and move in a direction that could land him with the Jets. The Jets didn’t send all that representation to meet with Rodgers in California for nothing.
They did it to eventually make a trade.
Still, the big decision here will come from Rodgers. Does he want to play in Green Bay? Does he want to play at all? What about a potential trade?
Also, we should note… will Green Bay even want Rodgers back?
At this point, the Packers are going to have to make a big decision in terms of Jordan Love. If they believe he can be the guy moving forward, then it’s time to give him the chance. And it sounds like that chance is coming this season.
