The Packers are about a month away from kicking off training camp. 2022 is the first time in three years under Matt LaFleur that Green Bay’s offense has some real questions. Without Davante Adams the Packers’ offense will be spreading the ball more. Aaron Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show and talked about how the offense could go through some “growing pains” during camp.

What Does Rodgers Mean?
Aaron Rodgers has been in Green Bay for a long time and knows the offseason process better than anybody. Rodgers mentions how the media likes to judge players too early, and that it shouldn’t be the case. Rodgers said it could be a “long training camp for the offense.” Rodgers wasn’t so much criticizing the young players, but more crediting his defense.
Rodgers said all three young receivers look the part and have the tools to be successful. He also mentioned how the “seventh-round pick has some stuff to him.” The player he is referring to is Samori Toure. The young player has the potential to be a big-play threat in the offense. Rodgers also talked about how going against the Packers’ top three corners is the biggest help the young receivers can have.
