The Aaron Rodgers trade has captivated headlines all off-season. After over one month of negotiating, the Jets and Packers finally agreed to the trade just days before the 2023 NFL Draft. A number of former Green Bay Packers have followed Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. Those names include Nathaniel Hackett (even though he arrived in New York before Rodgers), Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Billy Turner. Recently one other former Aaron Rodgers teammate talked about wanting to team up with Rodgers again. Now, Aaron Rodgers is talking about his own reunion.
Aaron Rodgers Talks Reuniting With Allen Lazard Amid Davante Adams Comments

According to Priyam Hazarika:
The Aaron Rodgers legacy at the Green Bay Packers has come to an end. Many believe that Rodgers’s supremacy has led to other players surrounding him shining on the field too. But his ex-teammate Davante Adams does not believe in this narrative, proving himself in his first season without the acclaimed QB at the Las Vegas Raiders. The 4X MVP QB will be looking forward to writing a different chapter of his new life with the New York Jets. Ever since his move to New York, fans, as well as the franchise, have bet their hopes on Rodgers taking them to another Super Bowl title in decades.
But Aaron Rodgers is not the only player the Jets have acquired in the offseason. They have also signed a few other players from the Packers to get A-Rod comfortable with the roster for the new season. And A-Rod has this particular partiality for a player brought in this offseason from the Packers, with whom he has played for years in his previous franchise.
The New York Jets’ YouTube page recently posted a short documentary that follows the arrival of A-Rod to New York. In the documentary, he talks about how he’s excited to work with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who has experience calling offensive plays with Aaron Rodgers at the Packers from 2019 to 2021. The QB also talks about WR Allen Lazard, who is also now with the Jets to bolster the arsenal surrounding Rodgers on the field. Lazard has the experience of playing with the 4X MVP QB at the Packers ever since signing with them back in 2018. And Rodgers is looking forward to carrying that chemistry with the WR in New York as well.
Here is the full video. As of now, it would appear that Aaron Rodgers isn’t advocating for the New York Jets to pursue a trade for Davante Adams. However, if Adams’ future in Las Vegas comes into question, don’t be surprised if the four-time MVP voices his interests.
