Two outstanding athletes swapped jerseys Saturday night after a legendary match-up at Lambeau Field. Manchester City and Bayern Munich played the first ever major league soccer matchup at the legendary stadium. Afterwards, Aaron Rodgers and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne exchanged signed jerseys inside Lambeau Field, according to De Bruyne’s official Instagram account. Rodgers also shared the post on his own official Instagram.
The Jersey Swap:
Kevin De Bruyne is widely regarded as one of the best soccer players in the world and of his generation. De Bruyne, a Belgium native, has played for Man City since 2015. He’s twice won Playmaker of the Season in the Premier League. Last year, De Bruyne finished second in the league in chances created.
On the No. 12 Packers uniform, Rodgers wrote: “Kevin, love watching you play. You’re a legend.”
De Bruyne wrote on his jersey for Rodgers: “To the legend Aaron Rodgers, all the best.”
