New York Jets owner is not calm when it comes to his grade from players based on the recently released NFLPA report card. His emotions are totally opposite though when it comes to Aaron Rodgers and the former Green Bay Packers star’s two-season sting with them.

Woody Johnson received an F grade from player and he called it an absolute trash.

“My first read is I think it was totally bogus,” Johnson said during an appearance at the NFL’s annual meeting.

“I thought this whole setup, the way it was done … that’s enough said on that.”

He has a totally different feeling about Rodgers though who played for them for two seasons and was paid handsomely for that.

The team did not reach the playoffs on both seasons and he played just 18 games in total after his first season as a Jet was cut short by a season-ending Achilles injury.

Johnson on experiment with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is an NFL great and he led the Green Bay Packers for many years as a perrennial contender.

He cam to the Jets with a stacked resumè but the team was only trying an experiment with him according to Johnson.

“The experiment was a good experiment, to bring him in, but it just didn’t work out, as you can see,” Johnson said as quoted by ESPN’s Rich Cimini.

“I have a lot of respect for Aaron Rodgers. He is a great player, a Hall of Famer player. I’m sorry it didn’t work out.”

Coming into the new season, the owner suggested they may be done experimenting and that they will now strive to be the best.

“We want to be better every day in every category,” he said.

“I want to be No. 1 in everything. All of our people do. We want to be No. 1, like we are in girls’ flag football. We’re No. 1 or No. 2 in the country. That’s where we want to be in everything, including on the field but also off the field in all of our philanthropies. We want to be No. 1.”
