Aaron Rodgers will likely start the 2023 NFL season as a member of the New York Jets. It has been over three weeks since Aaron Rodgers declared he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023. However, with seemingly no progress toward that trade actually happening, multiple other teams have reportedly entered the mix for the four-time MVP quarterback. That being said, it would be fairly surprising if the Green Bay Packers chose to trade him anywhere else. Aaron Rodgers is still making it known that he wants to play for New York this year.
Aaron Rodgers Works Out With Former Packers, Current Jets WR Allen Lazard
On Thursday afternoon, Allen Lazard posted the following picture on Instagram:

The NFL has no rules about players from different teams working out with each other. Former Packers tight end Robert Tonyan has famously spent the last few seasons working out with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, among other NFL and collegiate tight ends.
It is interesting, though, that Aaron Rodgers has chosen this offseason to work out with teammates in the offseason. Perhaps he has in the past, but it was never posted. Obviously, the circumstances of this offseason have made these kind of posts more high profile than in the past. That being said, one of the last offseason photo we saw of Rodgers was of his trip to Hawaii with then fiancé Shailene Woodley.
Allen Lazad spent five years in Green Bay, however, only four of which saw actual playing time (his rookie year he only had one target). During the four years Allen Lazard saw real playing time he accumulated 2,229 receiving yards, 20 touchdowns, and 168 receptions. Lazard also established himself as one of the best blocking wide receivers in the NFL during that time. The Jets hope to get even better production out of him during his time in New York.

I agree that it is a big move that Rodgers would workout in the off-season.
Mind boggling right?
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that no deals are made & Aaron Rodgers plays for Green Bay this season.
If the Packers can’t get the right compensation, why trade an NFL MVP?
So ya tell LOVE to wait one more season, if it a good run & see what happens.
Why would any team want him. HEADACHE! I don’t care about winning a stinking superbowl as long as I win MVP!
